A New Kind of Medical School — Not Just for TCU, but for the World
Burnett School of Medicine
The Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine opened in July 2019 with a remarkable vision and an inaugural class of 60 students from across the country. Eventually growing to a full enrollment of 240, the program will elevate our community's already high standard of health care while addressing Texas’ current physician shortage. Under the leadership of founding dean Stuart D. Flynn, an experienced senior staff has designed an innovative curriculum to train Empathetic Scholars™ prepared for the future of medicine.
